So a couple of weeks ago, my parents and I went on a spontaneous roadtrip to Grotli in Skjåk, Oppland
. We ate svele at the ferry from Halsa, we stopped at Ørnesvingen (Eagle curve) and I took loads of pictures of Geiranger and the Geirangerfjord, before we drove on up in the mountains
.

When we arrived at Grotli and Grotli Høyfjellshotell, I noticed a WWII plane outside the hotel. A Heinkel He 111 to be correct. It was a copy of a plane that had been shot down over the Stryn mountains in 1940, by a British Fleet Air Arm Blackburn Skua (L2940) fighter which after the battle crashed into Breidalsvatnet. The remains of the Heinkel is still up in the mountains. The story about this dogfight over the Norwegian mountain range, was made into the movie “Into the White” by Petter Næss.

After unpacking, I went straight outside with my camera equipment to take pictures of the plane, and a couple of my dad photographing cottongrass (Eriophorum) and of the hotel (it’s over 100 years old, but of course, it was renovated)

difficult Not difficult sildenafil not, priority cardiovascular assessment and intervention.

. Then we went and ate dinner, a delicious buffet consisting of local food – it was quite delicious, followed by local beer from Trollbryggeriet (the Troll brewery) in the bar, before my father went to bed, my mother stayed at the bar to feed her addiction of the horrible game, Candy Crush Saga, and I went to doze off in the bath tub before I went to bed. It was quite nice, just vaping, listening to rock music and feeling the hot water seep into my pores.

The next morning we got off to an early start on our way home, and was met with heavy fog and rain, and even if my parents were a bit disappointed, I loved it, and ran around like a maniac on all the places we stopped, to take pictures. Of waterfalls, Geiranger and the Geirangerfjord with fog rolling down the mountains, of Trollstigen Visitor Center, Trollstigen itself and a giant waterfall next to it, Trollveggen and Romsdalshorn …

When we got out of Rauma and Møre & Romsdal and into Lesja back in Oppland again, the sun started showing itself and we had a pleasent drive up to Dovrefjell, where we stopped at Dovregubbens hall (The hall of the Mountain King) to chill in the sun and eat Norway’s best waffles, before continuing to Trondheim to pick up my youngest sister, Oda, coming from Stavanger, before finally coming back to Orkanger where I could really stretch my legs by sitting down in front of my computer and starting the work with all the pictures I took.

All the pictures can be seen here, but here are a few to sate your hunger.
