Rødvinssaus (Red wine sauce)

Ingredienser:
2 stk sjalottløk
5 dl rødvin
5 dl oksekraft / -buljong
100 g usaltet smør
1/2 ts salt
1/2 ts pepper
Olje

Slik gjør du det:
Skrell løk og finhakk den.
Fres finhakket løk kjapt i en liten kasserolle med litt olje
Hell på rødvin, og kok inn væsken til det er 1/4 del igjen (til det får en marmelade-konsistens), rundt 30 minutt.
Tilsett kraft / buljong og kok inn til halv mengde, rundt 15 minutt

Sil sausen.
Rør inn terninger av kaldt smør.
Smak til med salt og pepper

Another sauce I usually go to Knorr for.

Ingredients:
2 shallots
5 dl red wine
5 dl beef broth / -bouillon
100 g unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Oil

How to do it:
Peel the onion and chop it up.
Quickly fry the onion in a little saucepan with a bit of oil added.
Add the red wine and boil the liquid until it’s about 1/4 of what you started with (until the consistency is like marmalade), about 30 minutes.
Add the broth / bouillon and boil until half is gone, around 15 minutes.
Sift the sauce.
Stir in cubes of cold butter.
Salt and pepper to taste.
