Skogsbærkake (Forest berry cake)

Denne smakfulle saken er kjent under flere navn, deriblant blåbærpai og smuldrepai med blåbær, men i min mors oppskriftsbok heter den bare “skogsbærkake”, og det er noe av det beste med blåbærsesongen.

Ingredienser
4 ½ dl hvetemel
3 ts bakepulver
150 g smør
1 ½ dl sukker
1 egg
2 dl blåbær
1 ½ dl havregryn
1 dl sukker
1 ts vaniljesukker
50 g smør

Slik gjør du det
Bland mel og bakepulver. Smuldre i smøret.
Ha i egg og sukker. Kna sammen og ha i en form.
Ha over blåbæra.
Smelt de siste 50 grammene med smør. Bland sammen resten av ingrediensene og ha i det smelta smøret.
Hell dette over bunnen og bæra i formen.
Stekes ved 200 ºC i 20 minutt.

This tasty cake is known under many names, like blueberry pie and crumble pie with blueberries, but in my mother’s cook book it’s called “forest berry cake”, and it’s one of the best things with blueberry season.

Ingredients
4 ½ dl flour
3 tsp baking powder
150 g butter
1 ½ dl sugar
1 egg
2 dl blueberries
1 ½ dl oatmeal
1 dl sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar
50 g butter

How to do it
Mix the flour and baking powder. Crumble and mix in the butter.
Add eggs and sugar. Knead it and put it in a tin, pan, or whatever form you’re using.
Pour over the blueberries.
Melt the last 50 grams of butter. Mix the rest of the ingredients and add the melted butter.
Pour this over the bottom and the berries in your form.
Bake at 392 ºF for 20 minutes.
