Serinakaker (Serina cookies)

Enda en oppskrift fra mormor, og en av mine absolutte favoritter.

Du trenger
400 g hvetemel
100 g potetmel
300 g smør
250 g sukker
1 ts vaniljesukker
½ ts hjortetakk
1 egg

Slik gjør du det
Smuldre smør og mel. Pisk egg og sukker. Bland det.
La deigen stå til neste dag.
Rull til en pølse og deles i små kuler.
Trykkes litt flate.
Pensle med egg, strø over med perlesukker (og hakkede mandler om du tåler sånt).
Stekes ved 190 °C i 10–12 minutt.
Avkjøles på rist.

Another recipe from my maternal grandmother, and one of my absolute favourites.

Ingredients:
400 g all purpose flour
100 g potato flour
300 g butter
250 g sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar
½ tsp hartshorn
1 egg

How to do it
Crumble butter and flour. Whip up the egg and sugar. Mix it into the flour butter mix.
Let the dough be until the next day.
Roll it out to a sausage and make small balls.
Push them down a bit so that they are a bit flattened.
Brush with egg, sprinkle with pearl sugar (and chopped almonds if you’re not allergic like me).
Bake at 190 °C (374 °F) for 10–12 minutes.
Cool on a grate.
